In 2001, Bakulbhai Thakkar — who began his journey as a restaurant waiter — opened a modest Kathiyawadi kitchen in Bharuch. Guided by his wife Jyotsanaben and son Sunny, that dream grew into SKKD: 16 branches, thousands of daily diners, and a reputation that stretches across Gujarat.
Our secret? Honest food, fearless flavours, and the belief that every guest deserves to feel at home. We serve only pure vegetarian cuisine — no compromise, no shortcuts.
